Simple pleasures...

You know, it really is the small things in life that make me the happiest. We spent most of Christmas break at my parents' house playing with cousins. Ben has two little cousins to play with and the girls have their bigger cousins to play with. I love the memories that they are making. I'm sure these are happy thoughts that will stay with them for a lifetime.

Teach them correct principals...

I was working in the kitchen the other day while Ben was jabbering like crazy. I didn't even look up to see what he was doing. Cal commented on how much he was talking but couldn't see him because he was in the other room. So I glance over to Ben and see him sitting at the table. He had his arms crossed, his head bowed, and he was chattering up a storm in a language known only to him. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. We have taught him to fold his arms, but the head bow and the praying, he has learned on his own. What a sweet spirit in a tiny body.
