Super Ben

We went to the cabin over Memorial weekend. We had such a great time with the exception of Cal rolling his 4-wheeler. It was so great hanging out with the fam, eating, playing poker, and watching Baby Einstein (yes EVERYONE was glued to the screen). Here is a cute picture of Ben in his little Super Man jammies. Check out that six pack! He was so cute because he can actually get going fast enough that his cape flies out behind him just a bit.

My sweet little 1 year old

I had Ben's pictures taken by Miranda Johnson who does beautiful work. She is very reasonable and patient. Ben was so sick. I had originally tried to reschedule,but she was booked until June. I can't get his 1 year pictures at 14 months, what kind of mother would I be? So we took him anyway. He was a trooper, but unfortunately couldn't make it through the whole photoshoot. She said we could take him home and let him rest. So we took him home, rested him, and he was still miserable. I gave her a call and told her we wouldn't be coming back. I was so sad because we hadn't got his pictures with his birthday cake. she was pretty sad for us and suggested that we come back the next day. Ben was feeling a bit better so we managed to get his pictures with his cake. If you have a need for pictures, I completely recomend Miranda (I say that with the risk of her being over-booked not having time for my pictures). So I decided to post a bunch of the photos that she took. I know I'm partial, but he looks gorgeous!!!

Ben rewind

My little man is now a 1 year old. It is so hard to believe. I know people often say how quickly time flies, but this really puts it into perspective. I was looking at some old pictures and thought that he looked like a baby. How funny considering technically, he still is a baby. He just doesn't really have that baby look so it was fun when I found a picture that he actually looked "baby-ish". So here's a little "baby vid". Ahhh, I miss him.
